CAP FUR

Garment The Cap Fur began as a conversation between Maxime (founder and AD of Maxime Black) and I. I proposed the idea of zipping a fur trim — taken from a jacket — around the base of a cap, positioned just above the visor.

A while later, the idea resurfaced, and Maxime evolved it further by zipping the fur directly around the visor itself, creating a more defined, mask-like silhouette.

We also explored the original concept for a few style-up posts, wrapping the fur trim around the crown above the visor.

Like Maxime Black’s iconic Foam Cap and Cap Wrap, the Cap Fur explores how minimal, precise interventions can transform a familiar form into something unexpected and memorable.

As of August 2025 the Cap Fur’s design was adjusted with further brand relevant detailing for one of Playboi Carti’s shows in Atlanta, GA.
